I'm Dr. Tom Rohrer, PhD, LMFT — a performance consultant and psychotherapist
who's spent nearly four decades helping athletes, performers, and business owners move from stuck to their best.

My path to this work wasn't academic first — it was personal. Emotional struggles once got in the way of my own athletic and musical pursuits, long before I understood why. I've walked through my own recovery from addiction. I've rebuilt a marriage from the ground up into the strongest relationship of my life. And a long spiritual search led me to the foundation I still build my life on today.
Every one of those experiences shaped the approach I now use with clients: resolve what's keeping you stuck, reconnect with your strengths, and develop the confidence to perform at your best — whether that's on the field, on stage, or in the middle of running a business.
Professionally, I'm a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in both Colorado (CO-0001929) and California (CA-MFC20325), and a Performance Coach. I combine that clinical training with real-world performance coaching, because the mental blocks that stop someone in therapy and the ones that stop an athlete on game day usually come from the same place.
I'm also the author of Thriving Beyond Addiction: A Complete User-Friendly Guide, and my next book, Beyond Peak Performance, is on the way (projected publishing date Spring of 2027)— it's the framework behind the Big 10+ Peak Mental Performance Traits masterclass.
Sessions are held at my office, Brain & Body Performance Center, in Colorado Springs, or via confidential video conferencing — whichever works better for you.
I'd love to work with you. The best way to start is to join my free monthly masterclass, or if you're ready to talk now, book a free 20-minute call.
